Slow Release Nitrogen
MUtech™ - The Andersons' brand of methylene ureas slow release nitrogen. All methylene urea products are combinations of short, medium and long chain molecules. MUtech is an optimized combination of these molecules, designed to provide uniform turf color, improved density and surge control for 12-16 weeks in a variety of environmental conditions.

The release mechanism is microbial degradation, so nitrogen release is gradual and unaffected by mower damage. MUtech is ideal for close-cut turf - greens, tees and short-cut fairways - when a small particle formula is required.

Need a longer release for fairways applications? Then MUtech-L (long-chain) may be a better product for your nutrition program. This longer chain variant of methylene-urea will provide up to 24-weeks of Nitrogen release. MUtech-L is an engineered combination of chain-lengths which provide extremely low burn-potential, allowing applications of up to 2 pounds of Nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft. for season-long nutrition. Coupled with the Turf-Nutrition-Tool (TNT), and dispersible granule (DG) technology, this form of slow release nitrogen is a new weapon for turf managers.
